Block paving is one of the most flexible paving options in terms of where it can be used. As with any type of paving, your first consideration is the exact area of use and the type of use for that area. If you are looking to pave a standard domestic driveway (for your average family car), pathway or patio, then a 50mm product is generally sufficient. However, if you are looking to pave an area where particularly heavy vehicles are likely to overrun or where there is very frequent traffic passing over, a more heavy duty 60mm or 80mm product is advisable.

As with any other type of paving, regular maintenance is important to keep the area clean and free from moss and algae. We recommend thoroughly washing paved areas with warm soapy water and brushing off with a stiff broom three or four times a year.
