The impregnated mosquito nets are recommended and even necessary for trips to countries with danger of contagion of Zika, malaria, dengue and other diseases transmitted by insects. The WHO recommends its use since the impregnation repels mosquitoes, thus avoiding bites through the net.

Our travel mosquito net tents are LLINs (Long Lasting Impregnated Nets). LLINs differ from conventional mosquito nets in that the insecticide is incorporated into the fiber that makes up the mosquito nets. In this way the protection is uniform and more durable, so these mosquito nets are more effective than those dipped in impregnation. LLINs are effective for 3 to 5 years and up to 20 washes.
