RIPSTOP CANVAS is waterproof, UV resistant and fungal resistant. It is 180 cm wide and 400 gsm & 500 gsm. Available colours include SAND & OLIVE colours. The Ripstop Range of fabric is used in the manufacture of tents, shelters, and awnings. Each product is designed with specific performance criteria to meet different needs, ranging from rooftop vehicle tents to military specifications. The fabric is an acrylic-treated polyester fabric.

NB: RIPSTOP has a special weave that is abrasion-resistant and prevents cuts and tears from spreading.

The fabric retains colour and strength even after years of use, due to careful attention to detail during their manufacture.

Outstanding resistance to rotting, waterproofness and water repellency are build-in and resistant to UV degradation.

NB: Ripstop can be made from nylon-cotton blends (NyCo) or polyester-cotton (PolyCo) fabric. Because of its resistance to tearing and ability to withstand the elements, ripstop is a preferred material for outside use as well as military clothing.
